When Anthony Battaglia MS, BSN, RN and President of Pocket Nurse®, made it his mission to advance and assist medical educators by providing high-quality, cost-effective supplies, medical simulation was in its infancy. In 2017, Pocket Nurse marks its twenty-fifth year of operation.
A major driver of Pocket Nurse’s success is attendance at trade shows, and we are excited once more to be present at the International Meeting for Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH). As Beth Telesz, Corporate Nurse Educator for Pocket Nurse, says, “It gets better every year.”

Pocket Nurse will be at IMSH with the new SimObesity™ suit, a full-torso shirt that fits on manikins or standardized patients and simulates obesity. The use of this solution teaches students about the realities of treating bariatric patients, and the sensitivity and specialty care necessary.
In addition, Pocket Nurse is collaborating with KbPort (booth #408) to present complete medicine management solutions for education; VES (Virtual Education Systems) to present virtual reality (VR) experiences for healthcare students; and of course, new customer-requested Demo Dose® Simulated Medication solutions.
About The International Meeting for Simulation in Healthcare
The International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH) is the world's largest conference dedicated to healthcare simulation learning, research and scholarship, offering 250 sessions in various formats, from large plenary sessions to small, interactive immersive courses.
